This super easy water bottle painted shamrock craft for kids uses a plastic water bottle, acrylic paint, and paper to make fun stamped Shamrock prints.

This super fun and festive craft is the perfect St. Patrick’s Day craft for kids of all ages. They turn out so cute and are so simple to make. Kids will love stamping picture after picture of fun shamrocks.

St. Patrick’s Day Water Bottle Shamrock Craft

St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Stamping Craft

*For this easy shamrock craft you will need a plastic water bottle. You can keep the water in or drink it and rinse it out before using. Either way should work.

*You should be able to use a standard water bottle with this craft. Before starting the project check the bottom of the water bottle first. Many of the standard ones look like a shamrock but a few of them have a different shape that wil lnot work.

*You can stamp as many shamrocks as you want on your paper, overlap them, or stamp and cut them out. The best part of this craft is it is completely customizable.

*You can use acrylic or washable paint for this stamping craft. Washable paint may be a better choice for younger children but is not as permanent.

Water Bottle Painted Shamrock Craft

Materials

  • Plastic water bottle
  • Green paint
  • Cardstock or white construction paper

Directions:

  1. Pour a large amount of green paint onto a paper plate.
  2. Stamp the bottom of your water bottle into the green paint.
  3. Push the paint covered bottom onto a piece of white cardstock or construction paper.
  4. Repeat the process all around the paper.
  5. Cut out the shamrocks to make a fun shamrock sign/decoration or add on a Happy St. Patrick’s day message for a cute card or poster.
