Homemade Fresh Fruit Popsicles

Jun 25, 2021

These homemade fresh fruit popsicles can be made in three different ways. The strawberry, raspberry, and kiwi lemonade popsicles are made with only three ingredients and are so delicious. They are made with fresh fruit and are the perfect healthier homemade freezie pops for both kids and adults.

These fresh fruit pops use a choice of fresh fruit, lemon juice, sugar, and a bit of water (if needed). They are made using a blender, poured into freezer popsicle bags, and frozen until they are ready.

This is the perfect treat to make with kids and a favorite summer snack in our house. They are guilt free as they are made with fresh fruit and the kids will love helping make them. Kids will love helping to cut (and snack on) the fresh fruit, and love pushing the buttons to blend it all up. Lots of ways that toddlers all the way up to big kids can assist in making these tasty gluten and dairy free popsicle treats!

If you’re like our family, you may also enjoy berry picking as a summer activity. This is the perfect way to use all of those berries up. It is also a great treat after a hot day in the sun working hard to pick berries!

Strawberry lemonade is a favorite treat in our house and we love any and all treats that go along with it. Be sure to also check out these strawberry lemonade cupcakes for another lemonade sweet treat.

Strawberry Lemonade Fresh Fruit Popsicles

Comine two cups of fresh strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar to make these strawberry lemonade fresh fruit popsicles. If you are using fresh strawberries from a day of berry picking they may be a lot juicier and you may not need to add any additional water. If you find that the consistency once blended is too thick add water 1 tbsp at a time until you reach the desired consistency.

Raspberry Lemonade Fresh Fruit Popsicles

Combine two cups of fresh raspberries, lemon juice, and sugar to make these raspberry lemaonade popsicles. Similar to the strawberry popsicles you may not need to add any additional water if your berries are juicy enjough. If you find your mix to be too thick add water 1 tbsp at a time to thin it out before pouring it into the popsicle tubes.

Kiwi Lemonade Fresh Fruit Popsicles

To make these kiwi lemonade fruit pops you will need to blend kiwi, lemon juice, and sugar. If your kiwis are not ripe (or juicy) enough, you will most likely need to add 1/4 cup of water to the blender to help it blend all the way down and ensure it can be poured into the popsicle tubes.

Many times when purchasing kiwis, it is difficult to know if you have found sweet or sour ones. You may need to add an additional 1/4 cup of sugar to these popsicles if you find the kiwis were too tart combined with the lemon juice. Add additional sugar 1 tbsp at a time until you reach the desired taste.

Homemade Freezie Pops

For these popsicles, I would recommend purchasing these plastic popsicles tubes from Amazon. They come with a funnel to help fill and even holders for kids hands. They are the perfect way to make homemade freezie pops that are not filled with artificial syrups and loaded with tons of sugar. You can also use this recipe in popsicle molds but it will change the serving size amount.

These are awesome! We used to make them years ago with Kool-Aid and the Tupperware molds. Yours are much healthier than us 80s babies had. LOL
