Why Do a Toddler Interview?

When conducting an interview with a toddler you may find out new information about your little ones that you didn’t know before.  You may find new things to do with them, new ideas for future gifts to give, or just find that you are having a great time spending the time together. Toddler interviews make a great keepsake and help you to remember your child’s favorite things at their current age forever.

A teacher or daycare leader may also conduct a toddler interview as a gift for families. Toddler interview keepsakes make the best gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, or just because.

Toddler Interview Questions Tips

*If completing this list with more than one toddler try your best to complete it one-on-one and in an area where they cannot hear the other child’s answers. If they listen and hear other children’s answers they may change their desired answer to match what the other toddler is saying.

*This list of interview questions for children is not only great for toddlers but also great for preschoolers, kindergartners, and grade school-age children as well. You may need to change one or two questions when doing this with older children but most still apply.

*To interview your toddler and share the results with others you can copy and paste the list into Word, Google Docs, Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform. Then just fill in their answers and save or post it.

*Toddler interviews are great to do around little one’s birthdays, for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, or anytime desired.

*If you want to interview your children for a keepsake you can print out the PDF lists below (there are two different choices) and fill in the answers on the same sheet. You can then insert the filled out sheet into a baby book or file system at home.

*There are two different choices for toddler interview questions PDFs. One has 20 questions mostly about the children themselves. The other has 30 questions in which they answer some questions about Mom and Dad. Depending on their age and attention span you may want to use the shorter list.
