*When using these first and last day of school signs just scroll through the documents and choose whichever one you desire. There are four different style choices for back to school signs and each one comes with options for K3-5th grade signs.

*Each first day of school sign PDF document has matching first and last day of school signs. You can take a photo with your child holding the first day of school sign, save the document or bookmark the site, and then come back and print the last day of school sign when the time comes. The signs will look similar and be consistent but your kids will have grown a whole year!

*Have your child do a first day of school photo and a last day of school photo and put them together in a photoshop app once you have both. It will be fun to see how much they’ve grown and if any of their favorites are different.

*There are 4 fun options for free printable first and last day of school signs included. Two are more simple first day of school signs that just include your child’s grade and school year with a fun decoration.

The other two options include fill-in-the-blank spots for information about your child and their favorite things. ***If you choose these please you may want to be mindful of what you post on public social media accounts. Simple 2024-2025 First Day of School Printable Sign

This super simple version of a back to school sign includes the school year as well as colorful writing that indicates your child’s grade level and whether it is the first or last day of school. Options for K3 all the way up to 5th grade.

School Supplies Printable First Day of School Sign

This is another simple version of a first day of school sign but with a lot more color. This one includes a border of colored pencils running along the bottom and clipart of normal school items. It does not include the school year but does include your child’s grade as well as if it is their first or last day of school. Options for 3K all the way up to 5th grade as well.

First Day of School Fill in the Blank Sign

This sign option includes a white background and black font. It has blanks to fill in your child’s name, age, favorite color, favorite things, teacher’s name, and what they want to be when they grow up. It also includes the school year at the bottom of it. This one has a lot of blanks but is a great option if you want to remember your child’s favorites at their age.

First and Last Day of School Favorite Things Printable Posters

These back to school signs are our favorite option and the ones that I like to use with my children every year. These are colorful and include options for each grade level K3-5th grade. They do not include the school year or teacher’s name and only include basic information so they are better for posting on social media than some of the more in depth or personal options.

The fill in the blanks are great keepsake questions that help you to remember your child’s favorites at this age. It includes a blank for name, age, favorite things, and what they want to be when they grow up.

*My kids love using these signs each year and we still go back and look at what their favorites were every year. Some have changed and some have stayed the same.
